In-depth analyses as a foundation

At WPW, we use energy and building simulations not only to optimize new construction projects, but also specifically to analyze and address weaknesses in existing buildings. In this way, we create a solid foundation for decision-making aimed at ensuring an efficient, sustainable, and future-proof energy supply.

Using state-of-the-art simulation software, we comprehensively calculate material flows, energy quantities, and energy flows in a realistic interaction. We compare different scenarios. The robust, data-driven results enable us to identify opportunities and serve as a transparent basis for decision-making and strategic planning.

Our approach

We use digital simulation models to evaluate, optimize, and design energy supply systems and sector coupling. These models accurately replicate realistic user scenarios, system parameters, and building physics relationships in great detail. By incorporating site-specific weather data, we can make precise assessments of annual trends regarding sustainability, energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and flexibility, as well as the impacts of repurposing and expansion.
