Expansion Design Center Ford

The expansion of the Ford Design Center at the Cologne-Merkenich development site has created a pioneering space for creativity and interdisciplinary collaboration. On an area of around 3,000 m², a light-flooded new building was created that complements the existing building and architecturally reflects Ford’s open design philosophy. WPW planned a transparent, horizontally structured building with flowing spatial structures that promote communication and inspiration.

Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf New energy supply building

WPW planned the complete renewal of the central energy supply for the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, one of Germany’s leading large-scale research centers. As part of the modernization of the former nuclear research institute, a new, future-oriented energy center was created, which supplies around 40 buildings with heating, cooling and electricity.

New DB Campus Erfurt – House 1

With the new construction of House 1, a central component of the future DB Campus – a place for qualification, exchange and innovation within Deutsche Bahn – is being created in ICE City East Erfurt. As the first building on the former goods station, Building 1 marks the start of a modern learning and working environment in the immediate vicinity of the main station.
