Replacement of Bridge BW 6409 530 over the A 62

As part of the development of the Heide-Weistrich Eco-Park and the planning of a new motorway interchange on the A 62, the existing BW 6409 530 overpass will be replaced with a new structure. The new bridge will connect County Road K 60 with the parallel K 61 and meet future traffic requirements.

The new structure will be built parallel to the existing bridge to maintain traffic flow throughout the construction period. A pedestrian and cycle path will also be provided along one side of the bridge. Once the new bridge has been completed, the existing structure will be demolished.
