Heidelberg for Life Innovation Campus – New Laboratory Building

The Heidelberg for Life Innovation Campus is being developed in several construction phases as a modern research and development platform with direct access to the existing infrastructure of Heidelberg University Hospital. A central element is the construction of a new laboratory building designed to meet high standards of functionality, safety and flexibility.
wpw was responsible for the overall technical planning of all building systems, including heating, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems, material handling, gas supply and building automation. In addition, wpw planned the infrastructure for drinking water, process water, wastewater, electricity and telecommunications.
With its comprehensive planning expertise, wpw contributed to the successful implementation of a modern and future-oriented research facility.
