Ensdorf Elementary School – New Expansion Building

The municipality of Ensdorf is responding to rising student enrollment, the legal right to full-day care starting in 2026, and the structural condition of the existing buildings by constructing a new expansion. Following the demolition of two old buildings, a modern replacement facility is being constructed on the site, featuring classrooms and auxiliary rooms, staff areas for the FGTS, modern restroom facilities, and a cafeteria for daily lunch service.

wpw handled the procurement management for freelance services in connection with the EU-wide procurement of design services through three separate procedures: building design as a negotiated procedure with a call for competition and proposed solutions; structural engineering; and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design, each as a negotiated procedure with a call for competition.

In addition, wpw provided the municipality of Ensdorf with procurement management services for national procedures under the UVgO for services related to building physics and fire protection under building codes.
