Emile Mayrisch Hospital (CHEM) & François Baclesse Center (CFB) – New Construction of a Tertiary Care Hospital

In Luxembourg, the construction of the new CHEM and CFB facilities is creating a tertiary care hospital that combines cutting-edge medicine with patient-centered care of the highest standard. The complex is divided into several building sections: Building 100 houses the emergency room, radiology, endoscopy, nuclear medicine, central sterilization, the operating room wing, and a helicopter landing pad. Building 300 houses outpatient clinics, obstetrics, intensive care, nursing wards, as well as the kitchen and maintenance facilities. Building 500 houses radiation therapy, laboratory medicine, the training center, and administration, while Building 700 houses archives, palliative care, psychiatry, and geriatrics.

The Luxembourg Ministry of Health commissioned the ARGE wpw and WITSCH+Partner consortium to provide consulting services for the assessment of the building’s technical systems. The goal is to ensure the functional, cost-effective, and needs-based implementation of this large-scale project in accordance with current legal, national, and European standards—through high-quality, process-oriented consulting.
