New construction of a pre-treatment electrocoating plant at the Ford plant in Cologne-Niehl

The PTEC (Pre-Treatment Electro Coating) building at the Cologne-Niehl site is a central component of the transformation to electromobility. The facility marks the start of the painting process and has been precisely integrated into the existing production both technically and organizationally. WPW took over the general planning – from the preceding feasibility study to determine the location to the integral planning of all specialist disciplines.

Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf New energy supply building

WPW planned the complete renewal of the central energy supply for the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, one of Germany’s leading large-scale research centers. As part of the modernization of the former nuclear research institute, a new, future-oriented energy center was created, which supplies around 40 buildings with heating, cooling and electricity. WPW was responsible for the general planning of the energy generation – including heating, cooling and electricity generation – as well as the planning of the external energy routes and building transfer stations.
